-
Will you make me track calories? No! (Unless you want to). Counting or tracking calories can be counterintuitive to reaching weight loss goals. Instead, I encourage the practice of intuitive eating which teaches you how to rely on your hunger and satiety cues to fuel your body without the need for tracking.
-
How do you measure body composition? For my clients who are working with me in person, they will be stepping on an Omron Scale that provides a comprehensive understanding of body composition. It measures body fat percentage, skeletal muscle, resting metabolism, visceral fat, and more. The accuracy is based on full body sensors that uses hand-to-feet technology versus foot-to-foot monitors.
-
What is the success rate?Success is dependent on the client’s goals. By incorporating whole-real foods more often than heavily processed foods, my clients tend to feel more energized, have increased mood, and see changes in body composition. The goal of my program is to help my clients fuel their body with food and to help them develop a healthy relationship with food. (Weight loss is only a bonus!).

Where do you see your clients?1-on-1 Consultations are either in person at: Universal Strength Wellness Center (Back building) 2140 Eggert Road, Amherst, 14226 OR Virtual via patient portal

How many sessions will I need?Depends on the concern. I work with my clients until all their concerns are addressed or until their health conditions are managed (at least 4 sessions). Once my clients hit their 'maintenance' phase, we can discuss only meeting 1-3 times per year.
